Slumdog Millionaire.
This is probably the first Indian movie that I genuinely liked.
No wonder it won so many awards.
It teaches you not to look down on anyone. Even a person from the slums can have far greater knowledge than an educated person.
And it's quite sad that just because a person is not highly educated, people don't believe his words.
Anyway I just like the way they concluded everything as destiny towards the end.
Hmm.. Anyone realised that the little Jamal and Salim spoke Tamil, it's only when they became teenagers then they began speaking English. I suppose they learned that while doing business on the trains huh. Lol.

POA prelim paper on Monday, and I haven't started a single topic on it.
Okay I'll force myself to start on it tonight. No bluff.

Bought a hair dryer today, now I finally can choose cool settings on my dryer.
And it ionic, supposedly for healthier hair. Only wanted to get one with cool settings but the salesman upsell lar, so easy to cheat me of my money right. Haha.

Dropped the bulk off at home before heading to Lot 1 to catch He's Just Not That Into You with Celina.
Interesting and inspiring one. It's quite a predictable story though.

two-fourteen

Hello all, I haven't been blogging for awhile, exactly 1 week!

Partly due to working so quite a number of days for the past week, some students see me so frequently until they also know my name le. Haha.

Okay, so.... V-day!

Woke up later than I had planned and headed off to amk.

Ong Xing Kai confirm haven't wake up anyway. So it's his fault that I keep tuu-ing! Will keep thinking "Nevermind la, since that piggy also haven't wake up".

And we tuu until even later then leave house. Had our dinner at Hotpot Culture at MS.. Wa I recommend don't go on crowded days, cos the amount of smoke from all the hot pots is going to make you cry. Haha.

Luckily we had a reservation, and although we were arrived late, they still allowed us to cut queue!!

And we had choc fondue for dessert! But I find the choc's a little too bitter. Haha.

After dinner we went to check out movie listings for that night and bought tickets to Valkyrie; we had absolutely no idea what that show was about, cos I thought since Tom Cruise's in it, it should be good, lol. While waiting for the show, we walked to esplanade to chill and all the while I kept complaining why no flowers, hahahaha. So when we made our way back to MS for the movie, he bought me a bear bear bouquet :)

The movie's good, just that I was getting abit tired towards the end.

The bag was my gift from dear :)I want my own camera!! So sick of my shaky hands when snapping photos.

He asked me to take a sideview picture of his little ponytail. Haha. So long le still don't want to cut it. Nevermind, come NS and he'll have to snip off that ponytail!

i'm up but the portal's down

Wonder why I'm up so early?
I was supposed to be picking my revision schedule at 11:30am. But the bloody portal is down -_-
And I forgot to update my phone number on my profile, so nothing was sent to my phone, but anyway they sent the message at like 3am (cos my mum's using my old number so I could check), normal people would be asleep already.. Okay lar, I would have seen it since I went to bed so late.

Baked cheesecake with Audris and Adeline on Saturday. Haven't tasted it yet, my share's with XK, hope he don't finish them all.. The strawberry cheesecake should be alright, I'm just worried about the marble cheesecake. Lol.

Reached amk quite late yesterday, what else, cos I woke up late, haha.
And the clock in dear's room lousy lar! It's behind by ten minutes, so when we thought we still had time to bus down to amk hub, the movie had actually started already.
Love Matters was better than I thought, had a really good laugh in there.
Snacked before heading off to work. We shared mee sua and 大包, are those considered snacks? Lol.

Red Cliff 2 is good!

Long time since I blogged.
Okay let's see, on Saturday I had my boring CF lecture then headed off to meet dear for their 15's renuion at Thomson area. Lucky we weren't the last to reach.
After that went to KT's house and gambled, again. This new year like keep gambling gambling. Overall is still a plus to my wallet. Haha.

On Sunday, I went over to Celina's house for her CNY gathering.
So long since I had pizza, I simply loved the cheese.
It's nice to just chill and watch movie there.
And I feel like I'm being constantly fed. Haha. Not like on day one of CNY, went my uncle's house but the food was not nice and not enough.

What was I doing on Monday? Yea, work.
And I had 10 evaluations to conduct. Why don't they just kill me.
They should just just create a website and make it e-evaluation.

Watched Red Cliff 2 with dear on tuesday. I was so damn tired that day, that I hit the bed the first thing I did when I reached his house. And then we rushed to Jubilee to catch the movie.
Red Cliff 2 is really nice!! I don't know why, war scenes, there's something in it that always make me wanna watch it.
No one wins, it's just a matter of how much you lost.
