My day with Mum

Was with Mummy in Orchard.
We took the public transport and Mummy was so funny la, keep commenting on the "new" mrt and stuff like that, cos she's always driving, this is one of the rare times she take buses and trains.
I applied for my Isetan card today. Anybody wanna help me collect points? Haha..
And I get to drink Full House 奶茶 while dear cannot ~bleah~

Shopping dairy: Clarins toning lotion, brush cleanser, new powder puffs.
Hmm.. I tried the toner already. It did help in oil control by a bit. Really is abit.

eye-mo!

Did some shopping with Mummy at Jurong Point.
She bought me a necklace for my 21st, and and earrings were from grandma.. Thanks :)
Oh and I got the Watsons member card. Haven't activate it yet though, shall do so in a minute.
The card comes with a booklet of discount vouchers, Maybelline, ZA, some health products, and stuff like that, oh, there's even one for KFC, like not linked to Watsons in any way.

Went over to grandma's house after that, bought Javier a new toy, those magnetic drawing board kind. Cos he's been drawing all over the sofa! Should have taken a picture to show you all his masterpiece. Next time.
You all should see the way he entertains us, and sometimes when we all laugh loudly, he'll will laugh also, he literally goes "HA HA HA!". Like speaking it instead of laughing out. So cute la.
And when you say "eye-mo eye-mo" he'll keep blinking his eyes at you!! Lol! Just like when you use eye-drops. Kids are so innocent...
I'll have more time to play with him during my work drought after next week. Haha.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Hmm.. For some reason my posting interface looks weird. The placement of the table is a little off.
Oh well, that's not important, better than last night when there isn't even the table for me to type my post. Haha.

Went IKEA with Daddy and Mummy on Monday. And I bought a small bookcase, a desk, and a table lamp. Okay, technically speaking, it was Mummy who bought it, and I'm supposed to return her the money on my next payday. But I'm finding a way to get a little bit of sponsorship from her.... Hahaa..
And don't know am I suay or what, yesterday when fixing the desk, two of the legs were defects, so had to bring it for exchange today.

Oh and, yesterday was Daddy's birthday. The four of us went for K Buffet at Marina Square.
Lacking in variety of food, but oh well, I'm more into the singing than eating, haha, unlike Ed. Then at the end of it, we picked the canto version of the happy birthday song, and after singing the first line the waiter came in to return Mummy the receipt, and he like got stunned on hearing the song.. Haha.

POA paper was basically a goner.
I can't do cashflows (you already know that).
I can't do variance analysis.
I can't balance my balance sheet, and my net profit is a huge loss. Haha.
As for the rest, I'm sure I didn't get them 100% right either.

Anyway, what I wanted to say is that the crowd control at our examination venue sucks.
I don't get it, why ask us to reach the place earlier when they don't open the temperature checking room till about 10 to 15 mins before the paper?
Cai Ling and I have entered the hall for the temperature taking thing then the man standing at the door said please check your seat number before you enter. Hello? Shouldn't you be standing outside and telling us then? What's the use of telling us when we've already managed to squeeze our way through the crowd.
So we squeezed our way through the crowd again to check our seat numbers.
And the best thing, the charts with our seat numbers are movable, cos they didn't use enough duct tape or blue tack or whatever shit, so the whole chart came off and people were like passing it here and passing it there. So special right, movable charts. Back at Ngee Ann or SIM also don't have this thing.

Celebrated Mothers' Day in advance. The four of us had dinner at Seoul Gardens at Causeway Point. Okay, the new smaller hotplate and soup pot were a little disappointing at first sight. But hey, now I don't need to worry about oil splattering onto my hands while cooking, cos the hotplate is now placed IN the table, not ON.
And the clams were really damn delicious. Shiok shiok de.
And guess what, I saw Min Jun and Ning Xing just a table away from us. It's been, I dunno, 4 years since I last saw them I think. Haha. Time really flies huh. Sigh~

almost a week's worth

Realised I haven't been updating much huh.
Tiffany's birthday party was on last friday. The four of us finally get to meet! It's always either Jean not free or Teng not free.

Being self entertaining since we reached early.
Those extra people in the background spoiled our photos. Lol.

During work on Sunday, some students came and shared room with me. Act came to school to study but they were all watching shows most of the time lar. There goes my chance of napping at work.

Later that evening I was at grandma's house for dinner. Javier baby is getting so cute. He even knows how to point a remote controller at the tv in an attempt to change the tv channel!! But of cos he didn't succeed cos he used the air con controller. Lol..
And when asked to go pee, he'll shake his head stubbornly You nod your head telling him must go pee, he will shake his head even more.. 可愛いね!

Monday, went amk to find dear before we headed down to town to meet his other friends, and also to return the Nokia phone. Undecided whether to buy the crispy chicken from Shilin and ended up going anyway while waiting for movie to start and while the others played lan.
Watched Gran Torino afterwards. Alot of draggy parts, but from middle part onwards it's not too bad. Ending's not quite what I expected but it ended the story beautifully. Whatever the case, $6 is all I would spend on it. Haha.







Oh yea, we bought tickets but there was no staff at the entrance to check our tickets. Could have sneaked in!!

Hihi.
Been a good girl over the weekend. Haha.
Accompanied mummy go buy things at lot 1 on Sunday.
Wanted to try getting my free subway meal de lar, but there weren't available seats so daddy suggested eating at 湾仔.
I think I ordered something like what chicken what steamed rice, and the portion is damn big lar, still can give half to daddy. Haha.

Then on Monday I went over to grandma's house with Mummy and Ed.
Baby Javier was still sleeping then when he wake up he saw me hugging Mummy then don't know why he start crying. Haha.
Mummy say cos he's jealous! (Since he's quite clingy to my Mum I guess that could be true?)
So cute lor, so young already learnt how to be jealous.
Then when he saw Ed eating potato chips he also want to eat, Ed go hide the can, he will keep squirming on the sofa like worm like that trying to find where Ed hid it. Haha.

Anyway after that we went to visit my uncle's mother at SGH (Not biological uncle, so his Mum is not my grandma.)
I'm not close to her but watching her in her condition now also will feel sad. Quite 可怜的.
Then we had dinner with uncle, and Daddy came to join again. Lol.
Like everytime eating time he'll show up de sia.

After that sent uncle home and Mummy dropped me off at JP.
Went to find Ting.
Sian sia, if I work there I confirm everyday also complain; everywhere you turn also can see Banglah worker (Don't know my spelling of Banglah correct or not.)
No offence to their race hor, just that some of them really got weird behaviour.
Waited awhile for her to knock off then went to mac cafe.
And we chit chat until we missed the last train departing Boon Lay sia.
Sians, and 172's last bus also gone liao.
Luckily daddy returned my call when I was reaching bukit batok with Ting; so I got free ride again. Haha. If not have to take cab home sia.

Okay la, now is time to wake xk up. Later miss his 7pm show want say me again.

Children's Day

Yesterday was Daddy and Mummy's anniversary and our family went to Yuki no Yaki at MS for dinner.
There weren't available seats for us when we first reached. So had to wait lor..
Then walked around in MS and it seems like they only like departmental stores sia; cos Daddy can happily go to the men's section without having to wait for Mummy while she shops.

Anyways, we ate till about 8 plus nearing 9 and then went Kbox! Haha.
Mummy's the happiest liao lor. Cos she seldom go karaoke de.
And Daddy ar.. Sing those young people de songs damn funny.
Especially those with English lyrics in the chorus or something like that.
But when he sings those old songs, is nice de lor.. Haha.
Only Ed like don't belong lar.
Like picked up from dustbin de. Haha. Okay lar, not picked up from dustbin, but 'cause he cant read the 繁体字.


I really don't know what's important and what's not.
When there's no specified time to stick to, you're not here.
And when there is a specified time to stick to, you're still not here.

Work today was so BORING.

So bored until I re-wrote the sales details' sheet in PINK ink, and calculated my pay up to this week.
Had an urge to blog on my phone so I can kill some time, but remembering my phone's outstanding bill, I thought better of it.
Still hate the music playing from next door de shop, crazy de, same few songs can repeat for weeks.
Opposite shop de also weird, they didn't repeat the songs a million times but they blast the volume like nobody's business. Haha.
Lucky I have my book to keep me busy.
Not act de lor.
And lucky my boy messaged me so I wasn't so bored. Haha.
Then when he asked me the location of my workplace, I was guessing if he's coming down.
But then decided not to think so much about it in case is I really think too much.
Turns out he really did come! Haha =)
But the shi lin mee sua that he wanted to eat alrdy sold out liao so... went to have mac instead before heading home.

Though I only heard one song.
Think I might go buy her album, cos I really stunned when I saw her mtv for that song, like got quite some improvements eh. So support her abit. Haha.

Yesterday.
After going 拜拜 for ah gong, my family went for lunch at this place called 'lotus something garden'.
Can't remember the entire name. The food is ok lar. But then, it says on the pamphlet that it's eat-all-you-can ala carte buffet, so normal ppl will assume that orders can be repeated right.
But the staff keep saying cannot, my cousin has been there before and that time is can de.
So my family like not happy lar, pay so much but cannot repeat orders. So we play bastard and order all the different dishes they have available, even when we know sure cannot finish eating de.
We ordered like 2-3 soups, 2 dishes of prawns, and god-knows-how-many of meat dishes.
As long as got cook differently jiu order.
Even dessert also took 2 types.
Don't know why Lees are all so guai lan.
It runs in our blood.

Then met dear in bugis.
Waited till wanna faint sia.
And sian until I went to buy lipgloss just because I had to spend on something to cure the sian-ness.
Anyway, shopped around in bugis but nv buy anything else, cept for a mickey mouse top. Dear bought quite alot though haha. And burned a hole in his pocket for the dinner at Sakae also.

21st July, Daddy Lee's birthday.

Went to Raku Ninja at Citylink for dinner.

Hmm, service was average, beverage was also average.

I find it weird that they serve café latte in those high glasses, no stirrer provided somemore.

And the chocolate milkshake was too sweet..

The food, not bad; portions just nice, taste was okay though fries a little salty.

I sound like a critic

I like their décor though and they play nice music =) Haha.

After dinner went to catch Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix.

I think I know why people say it's boring.

The story this time was already dull in the book, and when they cut somemore for the movie, it gets VERY boring.

The emotional struggle was not reflected in the movie as it is supposed to be in the book.

Everything just happened way too fast.

So it's a dissapointment I would say.

Emoticons are cute but they just aren't as cute in a project discussion. God knows what letters your emoticon represents. But for my friends, go ahead and use emoticons as you like it, I don't mind. It's just for certain people that I find it irritating.

Anyway, earlier on today I was at IKEA with family shopping for new curtains but the stock at this branch like rather limited now so we'll probably head down to the branch at Tampiness one of these days. Haiz, shopping there makes me feel like giving my room a revamp. Everything boils down to one word: money. Mummy wants me to treat her sushi, 婆婆 wants me to treat her some good food as well, they think I'm paid gold bars for my job is it.
