Yet another blogskin.
My blog sheds its skin faster than teng's caterpillar does.
No la, it's not true.
The caterpillar is faster.
It's irritating. but I'd bet you didn't know.
WISP presentation tomorrow.
I don't wanna be late, don't wanna be late, don't wanna be late, don't wanna be late......

While I was trying to finish up AA report,
a stupid flying cockroach appeared out of nowhere.
Since everyone was asleep, I had no choice but to kill it myself.
But that sickening insect kept disappearing from my sight.
Still, I killed it.
Slapped several times at it with the newspaper and wrapped the entire day of newspaper with it.
Don't say I didn't give it a proper burial.

The debrief really pissed us off.
You know la, humans are selfish people, they think only of themselves and not about others. If we were all that selfless, we would have been dieties already, and not here on planet earth handling crap everyday. Well, it's over already, what's been said had been said, there's nothing we could do about it. So this is how it felt to be 有口难言.
That aside, me, Teng, Cass, and Jean went to the ACM (Asian Civilisation Museum) today. Reason? We have a report due Monday that requires us to gather information at the museum.
I REALLY really regretted taking Appreciating Artwork.
Waste my brain juice everytime there's a report to write. I don't mind learning more but please.. not reports.. I'm so sick of them =(
And there's WISP presentation on Wed. Fuck la..
Slacked for awhile at TCC near raffles there.
Macadamia Nut Frapp is good!
Watched Blades of Glory with the ISAN peeps.
SUPER FUNNY!
I was literally laughing out loud throughout the whole movie.
Weird stunts, painful scenes, and funny lines.
At least the movie balanced out my slightly depressed mood.

Blades of Glory. Watch it. =)

Aussie trip photos round 2
Photos Round 2!
Again, if you find the pictures too small, click on it to open a link for a larger image.

These were made of cardboard! Amazing isn't it?

Mmm :P Looks delicious doesn't it?

Our cute Tiffany.

Woh! Huge crab!

Say cheese!

What a lazy expression.

Ar, fight.. fight somemore..

Bus was moving, I was shooting, sky was alluring..

Bus curtains were drawn down.. Teng beside me, probably sleeping.

Self obsession disease acting up.

Hmm.. I see Mrs Koh in the foreground.

The Wombat. Supposed to be the cousin of Koala, but how come they look so diff...

Here's another wombat, its hair feels stiffer than the Koala's.

Our fellow Singaporean helping out in the show.

Cute smile eh?

Piglets!! Kawaii!

Coke Zero. Zero sugar.. Don't see it around in Sg. I left this bottle in the bus but Nathan threw my bottle away I think =(

Pretty clouds..

We looked like gangsters going for a fight.

Hey Cass! Where're you looking at?

End of work attachment
*edited
Oh well, we're not supposed to blog about the recent work attachment we had at this particular hotel for this particular meeting event. So I'll just say that I've been involved in it. This is dumb.
There are people whom I don't think I'll ever understand. They do the all sorts of ridiculous things that you can name. And after doing it, they claim that the action was unintentional and was just a thought that they didn't think would be carried out. Please grow up and think before you act will ya?

Aussie Trip
Hello everyone!
I'm finally back to blogging. Had been busy you see; arrived back in Singapore on Sunday and then on Monday had a 3-day work attachment at Oriental Hotel. Uploaded some photos, but not all because that would take ages. So, enjoy!

14 May
Arrived in Australia!
Bus took us to the Chinatown in Brisbane.

At Chinatown in Brisbane.

At performing arts centre.
The place is pretty but the talk is boring. Especially after our long flight we were all dozing off.
Watermark Hotel; where we're gonna be staying at during these few days.
Well, the beds are large but the amenities available and the facilities are not exactly up to our expectations.
15 May
It's so hard to get up in the morning. Australia is 2hrs ahead of Singapore so when they say meet at 8am, it actually meant meeting at 6am. Madness.
Teng Teng kept trying to wake me up, but too softly.. haha.

At Conrad Hotel. The place is pretty and I loved their harbour view rooms.

Taken with our friendly bus guide Nathan and the guide for Conrad hotel.

From left to right clockwise: Charmaine, Miao Xia, Pei Wei, Althea, Stefanie, Cai Ling, Adeline, Tiffany, Me!
During the night, we went to the Vegas casino near our hotel. And by joining forces, we won some money =)
16 May

Sanctuary Cove Resort is beautiful! But alot of insects ar, probably cos the units are all low rised and there's a lot of greenary around.

I could spend a day just watching the clouds. The serenity of it all.

Oh, everyone tried to snap some pictures of the rainbow while on the bus.
17 May
The first stop for today is Dreamworld!
Watched a farm show which is quite stupid but interesting.
Fed kangaroos. Funny sensation when you feel them licking your palms.

Finally at around 1 plus, we had time to take the thrill rides.
We went for the Giant Drop first thinking that it should be less scary then Tower of Terror but turns out...

The freaking thing went up 38 levels and stayed there for about 2 minutes.
Then without warning, it drops all the way down to ground floor in less then 4 seconds.
My organs nearly flew out with it. But it was fun!!
So after that ride, the rest were all NOTHING compared to it.
I took Tower of Terror, Cyclone for 2 times, and The Claw for 3 times almost consecutively =D
I liked The Claw! It's like a gigantic swing flying and spinning.
Was Good!
But taking it for 3 times consecutively is sick.
I felt Like everything was upside down afterwards. Not exactly a nice feeling I would say.

18 May
Boring! Early in the morning went to the Griffith University.
The speaker s _ c k _ _ (fill in the blanks)

Went to Cass's uncles's house in the evening.
He cooked for all of us!! And dinner was great!
I loved his house, too bad I don't have the picture yet, there's plenty of rooms and the backyard looked cool =)
19 May
Agreed to wake up early to catch the sunrise. By the way, did I mention that their sunrise is freaking early? It's at around 6.25am and sun sets early too, so by 6.30pm, all is dark already.
Supposed to meet at 6.20am for sunrise, then I felt tired, and decided to skip it. Then when I turned and faced the window, I saw the pretty light of dawn. So, I jumped out of bed and asked Teng if she wanna go now. =D

Sorry, used wrong photo mode, made it looked like sunset.

Jump 1

Jump 2

Take 3: successful jump.
See the clouds, they are all so fluffy!! unlike in Singapore... where're the clouds?

In case you didnt know, that's me.

Walking to Courtyard Hotel.

The penthouse view from Courtyard.

Early dinner was on Cass. Pancakes!

Before.

After.

At the airport, bound for home.
