I cut my hair short! Yes short!
Asked around for 意见; some were encouraging, some were discouraging.
But anyway I got it cut; cos I already intend to cut it no matter what others say, ask for 爽 only.
And now instead of just my height which has been short since dunno when,
I have short hair too.

So behold the new shorty shortie:

Didn't take much photos of the fireworks, skills too lousy.

But I did take a video (could only host a short one cos of the limitations of the host):

After the fireworks we walked back to funan shopping centre, wanted to drive to somewhere else for dinner but too tired and hungry to wait. Haha.

So we settled for Sakae Shushi.

Ordered alot and ate till we felt so bloated.

She looked so happy today=)

I'm glad.

Final report for this semester, PT.
I have no idea why do we have so many reports to write for PT.
Furthermore I only know about the compulsory country club we had to write about today.
And the freaking website is down; for whatever reason, I don't know.
All I know is, it's hindering students from getting information they needed.
Moreover, why is it that only our class didn't know about it?
Why is it so that we are always the last to know.
Golf golf golf, I'll be lucky if I don't dream of more golf tonight.
Okay. I'm done whinning.

I've finished reading it!
Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.
Did my AA and WISP half-heartedly and had them submitted early just so I could have time to read it.
And today I had the whole day to myself! =)
Some parts of the story were rather confusing if not complicated.
And there wasn't much of an excitement compared to the other books.
Anyway I won't be giving away spoilers here.
Just felt happy that I've finished reading it. YYY
It's like having fulfilled the wish of the child within me,
considering the first time I read Harry Potter was when I was in P5.
So it's been like 9 yrears?
I have the whole collection, and everytime I reread them, it's a different feeling altogether, maybe viewing from a different perspective.
And this time round it's the final book already.
On one hand I'm happy that I can finally know how's the ending supposed to be like;
even though I've pictured numerous different endings in my mind.
On the other I'm sad that there won't be anymore magical musings to look forward to.
Those who have only watched the movies all along probably won't understand.
Won't understand the feeling of being so engrossed in the book and almost becoming part of the story.
Haha, what am I talking about?
Am I even making sense?

donuts!

Went to the Singapore Art Museum.
Hmm the collections there are quite pathetic which gave us so little choices for our Appreciating Artwork (AA) assignment.

Anyway we didn't stay long at SAM.
And we made our way to Donut Factory!
Well, I'm not actually a great fan of donuts but since everyone wanted to buy..

Walked around while others were queueing and I saw MPH selling Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows at $48.05.
Was itching to buy it, although I know it will definitely distract me from my assignments.
While I was choosing one with the most perfect cover (as I've said before, I'm a sucker for appearance), the staff there begin to bring out new stock, fresh from the parcel and so I took one from her =)




Those who wish to borrow it, please take note of the following
1. You'll have to book in advance.
2. You have to wait till I've finished reading it.
3. You'll have to take REALLY GOOD CARE of it, or I'll kill you.

Sounds like you'll be better off buying your own eh? Haha.
And I'm not kidding, I hate people who destroy my books.
Even a fold, a teeny weeny tear, or visible scratches are unforgivable.
This is especially so for new books.
Only I am allowed to destroy my books, no one else.

I was bored,

There's so much I wanted to say.
But I just couldn't find the right words.

Test's over.
Writing and listening was alright but speaking test was a little... how should I put it? Not too good but not too bad either, yep it was average.
I was more focused on hitting the number of compulsory sentences to use while my partner more concerned with the flow of the conversation.
Anyway I'm glad that it's over and done with.
Next up would be PT's project again and soon it'll be IAP.
But I still have no idea as to where I'll be posted to.

I try and try to understand.
But it's so hard to figure out the way you think, really.

Don't expect people to change their mindsets.
Don't expect them to change their behaviour.
Don't expect to change anybody.
Instead, learn to accept.

Should have skipped SQTR lecture.
Only 8 freaking slides? What the...
Before HOM class started, many were practising OPERA.
What was I doing? Surfing aimlessly?
Anyway when Pang tried to check my account out, he asked: "You sure you wanna check out?"
I'm like: so he meant I did mine wrongly la?
Even if I had another chance at it, I probably won't know where went wrong either.
So I don't see the point. Just check my account out la.

And I didn't get into the events company.
So trying for another place now.

Went kbox after that; Teng, Cass, and me.
One was sick, one was having blocked nose, one was slightly affected by the weather and feeling rather blue.
Haha but we went to sing anyway.
Singing was always enjoyable for me =)

Japanese test tomorrow.
3 in 1 again; speaking, listening, and writing.
With additional 3 other quizes.
Why hadn't I be a good girl and go home earlier today to prepare?

21st July, Daddy Lee's birthday.

Went to Raku Ninja at Citylink for dinner.

Hmm, service was average, beverage was also average.

I find it weird that they serve café latte in those high glasses, no stirrer provided somemore.

And the chocolate milkshake was too sweet..

The food, not bad; portions just nice, taste was okay though fries a little salty.

I sound like a critic

I like their décor though and they play nice music =) Haha.

After dinner went to catch Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix.

I think I know why people say it's boring.

The story this time was already dull in the book, and when they cut somemore for the movie, it gets VERY boring.

The emotional struggle was not reflected in the movie as it is supposed to be in the book.

Everything just happened way too fast.

So it's a dissapointment I would say.

The more I hear Ed say, the more worried I become.
It's like this, a few days back I cut my toenail and seemed to have cut it a little too short.
So the edge was like cutting into my toe's flesh.
Got more painful since that day I had my interview;
cos I had to wear covered shoe then, and it sort of pressed the nail harder at the flesh.
Pain~
Then I asked Ed since he used to have problems with ingrowth nails.
And he said I had better go see a doc.

Ee... I don't want it to end up swollen and have to do minor surgery on it.
I still want to paint my nail polish de leh..
