Haven't been updating cos my laptop refused to coorperate.
It's now hospitalized for a week. Don't know what's wrong, but for now I'll just have to make do with the shared com.
Watched Secret on Sunday.
It's nice but ending not clear.
Teng says sneak preview had more scenes.
Oh well, that's the thing about legends isn't it? It's gotta be beautiful yet not perfect. Because if it's perfect then it's a called a fairytale, not legend.
Then there's a scene in the movie where it played a very old song and some laughed at the song.
Why laugh? Because it's old? Just because it's an old song doesn't mean it's not nice okay.
Went shopping on Monday.
Had to buy blazer suit for work but couldn't find nice and not expensive ones.
I expect more heavy investments in work wear, haiz.
Was out again today; sent lappy for repair.
Then shopped with Daddy while waiting for Mummy.
Went temple afterwards and along the way we had to go past some shophouses, there were so many of those beauty parlors and Mummy not happy cos they only gave out the promotional pamphlets to her and not me. Hahaha
Rainy day but still went orchard to meet Teng, Cass, and Jean.
Didn't shop for long also cos I was tired.
Hmm, after intern starts also don't know whether got time to meet up le.
And now, I can't find my phone..
Think I left it in my mom's car. Great.

I was so full of anticipation when I watched the final episode of Kinship yesterday.
UNTIL it ended with no ending at all! =(
Had to wait till december before they broadcast season two... wth
By then I would have forgotten the story already.
So what's the point? To make sure we continue watching season two?
I guess I'm the slowest in my revision now, and will continue to be slow.
Because I started late
and because I have a lot of blanks in my notes -_-
The song 笑着流泪 is extremely addictive
Thanks to Cass.

The sad piece of news we heard yesterday.
Some didn't believe it was real, or hoped it wasn't real.
While some took it coolly; accepting it as a part and parcel of life.
Was in school for the short talk this morning.
Everyone was silent except for the occasional whisperings.
The kind of silence where everyone seemed to even try not to breathe too loudly.
I didn't dare to talk too much; because very often I say the wrong things at the wrong time.
Many were teary. And some were not; including me.
What can I say? He was our lecturer and tutor but we weren't extremely close.
Perhaps it's because I didn't witness it happening.
Or I haven't witness death before.
Perhaps I'm just not a teary person.
But that doesn't mean I'm heartless or anything.
It's just that we all have different ways of accepting it; and different ways of expressing our grief.
On a lighter note, I had a meeting with my internship company just now.
Let's just say that I'm pretty much looking forward to it.
Be strong.

RUSH HOUR 3 IS HILARIOUS!!
Go catch it; it's worth watching.
Watched Rush Hour 3 with Samuel.
Had around 3 hrs of free time before the movie actually starts and had nothing to do also.
So slacked at Starbucks; he read Harry Potter while I flipped through magazines over and over again, watched ang moh kids running about, and people-watch abit.
The movie was damn funny la; well with Chris Tucker in it, how can it not be funny?
After that went NYNY for dinner.
Food was alright but one particular unhygienic staff was.......
That guy whom Sam say looks gay, dug his nose and then continued serving other guests.
We caught him doing it twice; hell knows how many times he did that in a day.
Luckily he wasn't the one who served us our food.

Happy Birthday Singapore
In celebration of National Day
Asked around for 意见; some were encouraging, some were discouraging.
But anyway I got it cut; cos I already intend to cut it no matter what others say, ask for 爽 only.
And now instead of just my height which has been short since dunno when,
I have short hair too.
So behold the new shorty shortie:

Go red and white!! No crescent nor stars; too difficult to paint.
婆婆 telling story. I was listening intently.
We got bored.
Didn't take much photos of the fireworks, skills too lousy.
But I did take a video (could only host a short one cos of the limitations of the host):
After the fireworks we walked back to funan shopping centre, wanted to drive to somewhere else for dinner but too tired and hungry to wait. Haha.
So we settled for Sakae Shushi.
Ordered alot and ate till we felt so bloated.
She looked so happy today=)
I'm glad.

Final report for this semester, PT.
I have no idea why do we have so many reports to write for PT.
Furthermore I only know about the compulsory country club we had to write about today.
And the freaking website is down; for whatever reason, I don't know.
All I know is, it's hindering students from getting information they needed.
Moreover, why is it that only our class didn't know about it?
Why is it so that we are always the last to know.
Golf golf golf, I'll be lucky if I don't dream of more golf tonight.
Okay. I'm done whinning.

I've finished reading it!
Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.
Did my AA and WISP half-heartedly and had them submitted early just so I could have time to read it.
And today I had the whole day to myself! =)
Some parts of the story were rather confusing if not complicated.
And there wasn't much of an excitement compared to the other books.
Anyway I won't be giving away spoilers here.
Just felt happy that I've finished reading it. YYY
It's like having fulfilled the wish of the child within me,
considering the first time I read Harry Potter was when I was in P5.
So it's been like 9 yrears?
I have the whole collection, and everytime I reread them, it's a different feeling altogether, maybe viewing from a different perspective.
And this time round it's the final book already.
On one hand I'm happy that I can finally know how's the ending supposed to be like;
even though I've pictured numerous different endings in my mind.
On the other I'm sad that there won't be anymore magical musings to look forward to.
Those who have only watched the movies all along probably won't understand.
Won't understand the feeling of being so engrossed in the book and almost becoming part of the story.
Haha, what am I talking about?
Am I even making sense?
Kay la, shall stop here.
