Oh well, we're not supposed to blog about the recent work attachment we had at this particular hotel for this particular meeting event. So I'll just say that I've been involved in it. This is dumb.
There are people whom I don't think I'll ever understand. They do the all sorts of ridiculous things that you can name. And after doing it, they claim that the action was unintentional and was just a thought that they didn't think would be carried out. Please grow up and think before you act will ya?

Aussie Trip
Hello everyone!
I'm finally back to blogging. Had been busy you see; arrived back in Singapore on Sunday and then on Monday had a 3-day work attachment at Oriental Hotel. Uploaded some photos, but not all because that would take ages. So, enjoy!
(in case you find the photos too small, click on it and open the link for a larger image)
14 May
Arrived in Australia!
Bus took us to the Chinatown in Brisbane.

At Chinatown in Brisbane.

At performing arts centre.
The place is pretty but the talk is boring. Especially after our long flight we were all dozing off.
Watermark Hotel; where we're gonna be staying at during these few days.
Well, the beds are large but the amenities available and the facilities are not exactly up to our expectations.
15 May
It's so hard to get up in the morning. Australia is 2hrs ahead of Singapore so when they say meet at 8am, it actually meant meeting at 6am. Madness.
Teng Teng kept trying to wake me up, but too softly.. haha.

At Conrad Hotel. The place is pretty and I loved their harbour view rooms.

Taken with our friendly bus guide Nathan and the guide for Conrad hotel.

From left to right clockwise: Charmaine, Miao Xia, Pei Wei, Althea, Stefanie, Cai Ling, Adeline, Tiffany, Me!
During the night, we went to the Vegas casino near our hotel. And by joining forces, we won some money =)
16 May

Sanctuary Cove Resort is beautiful! But alot of insects ar, probably cos the units are all low rised and there's a lot of greenary around.

I could spend a day just watching the clouds. The serenity of it all.

Oh, everyone tried to snap some pictures of the rainbow while on the bus.
17 May
The first stop for today is Dreamworld!
Watched a farm show which is quite stupid but interesting.
Fed kangaroos. Funny sensation when you feel them licking your palms.

Finally at around 1 plus, we had time to take the thrill rides.
We went for the Giant Drop first thinking that it should be less scary then Tower of Terror but turns out...

The freaking thing went up 38 levels and stayed there for about 2 minutes.
Then without warning, it drops all the way down to ground floor in less then 4 seconds.
My organs nearly flew out with it. But it was fun!!
So after that ride, the rest were all NOTHING compared to it.
I took Tower of Terror, Cyclone for 2 times, and The Claw for 3 times almost consecutively =D
I liked The Claw! It's like a gigantic swing flying and spinning.
Was Good!
But taking it for 3 times consecutively is sick.
I felt Like everything was upside down afterwards. Not exactly a nice feeling I would say.

18 May
Boring! Early in the morning went to the Griffith University.
The speaker s _ c k _ _ (fill in the blanks)

Went to Cass's uncles's house in the evening.
He cooked for all of us!! And dinner was great!
I loved his house, too bad I don't have the picture yet, there's plenty of rooms and the backyard looked cool =)
19 May
Agreed to wake up early to catch the sunrise. By the way, did I mention that their sunrise is freaking early? It's at around 6.25am and sun sets early too, so by 6.30pm, all is dark already.
Supposed to meet at 6.20am for sunrise, then I felt tired, and decided to skip it. Then when I turned and faced the window, I saw the pretty light of dawn. So, I jumped out of bed and asked Teng if she wanna go now. =D

Sorry, used wrong photo mode, made it looked like sunset.

Jump 1

Jump 2

Take 3: successful jump.
See the clouds, they are all so fluffy!! unlike in Singapore... where're the clouds?

In case you didnt know, that's me.

Walking to Courtyard Hotel.

The penthouse view from Courtyard.

Early dinner was on Cass. Pancakes!

Before.

After.

At the airport, bound for home.

Spidey 3
Watched Spiderman 3. Hmm, it's good.
There was one part where Spidey was flying through the air and there's an American flag behind him. And it made me think, why is Spidey's suit in red, blue, and white for the eye areas?
It has the same colours as the American flag which, if I'm not wrong symbolises the right to know the truth.
And there you have it, a little while after that scene, Harry found out the truth behind his father's death, Spidey found the reason why Sandman did the things he did;
truths were unfold.
Haha.. I think too much AF is getting into my head, that IS module has very much potential to influence, I'm permanently damaged in the head already.
Whatever it is, I'm flying off to Australia tomorrow night.
BUT, I'm not done packing. Mainly all the chargers and last minute stuffs to put in.
Gonna fully charge everything before I leave tomorrow.
Was hoping to see that blogger had sorted out the faulty template but it hadn't;
number of dissatisfied users rising, and the level of dissatisfaction increases...
Nevertheless blogger has accompanied me for years (since 2003 year end?) so I'm still patiently waiting for them to solve the problem since I won't get to use my laptop for a week anyway.

must-watch
These 2 days I've been very 乖.
Completed both assignments for IS.
And now attempting to do the tutorial questions for RMTR.
We were asked to watch this documentary for IS. It's good.
The clip shows a teacher carrying out an experiment with her students to teach them about discrimination in their country. Do watch it if you're free. If you're not free, then find a way to make yourself free.
A Class Divided
It's an old documentary by the way.
Everybody's going WTF about the dresscode for our Australia trip.
We're expected to be in semi-formal clothing most of the time.
Stated no jeans, either pants or skirt. (wth, jeans not pants?)
Then to add on to our misery, we're supposed to wear blouses; like collared blouses. Just kill me.
I'll most likely be trying to break the rule and see what happens.
Say I've got no money to buy can?
Had sequels of nightmare last night. Some scenes are still clearly etched in my mind.
I keep waking up and falling back to sleep and continuing the nightmare.
It's like watching a movie and I kept forcing myself back to sleep just to find out the ending.
And it indeed had an ending.
Abit phsyco huh?
Please don't give me anymore nightmares tonight.

Sian-ness
My timetable for this sem :)

Just saw the email Chishiho sensei sent me; on the educational trip to Japan!
It cost a freaking figure of $2000 :( OMG... Omg... omg...
There's gonna be homestay, sightseeing, studying in Osaka Uni, and definitely shopping.
But I can't go!! Firstly 'cos it really cost a bomb, and secondly I think I'm gonna have attachment during those dates.
Sian-ness to the power of n.

12 more days
Yesterday was my last day at Wisma Isetan.
Cos Graphis counter closing down on 1st may.
Did full shift but talking and laughing with the babes made time pass faster :)
Starting to miss them already Y
Was late for lecture this morning.
Okay I know it's nothing new.
Flights for the Australia trip are confirmed, or so I think.
13th may leaving at 2110
20th may arriving at 0545
Guess the school's really trying hard to save money since both flights are at night and hence don't have to spend money on hotel rooms.
I can't wait! In another 12 days or so I'm flying off already!
And I remember the last time I went for study trip was in Primary 6.
So very long ago.. and that was only to Malaysia.
Now that I'm blogging this, I realise how little time I have left to get everything ready..

the doctor who whispers
Was sick for the past 2 days but I'm okay and running about already. So no worries.
Seems to me the medicine my doctor prescribed was pretty good.
Just a little blocked nose and slight cough now.
But he speaks VERY softly and gently, and somehow it bothers me.
People with hearing problems please don't go there cos I'm afraid you might miss ur turn without realising it.
Well, at least he's a 'gentle'man.
For these 2 days I've been getting free rides from daddy and mummy, either it's to school or from work. Blessing in disguise?

flu bugged
Skipped japanese lesson today
I really really didn't want to, 本当に
it's one of the few modules that I truly look forward to
Had a terrible runny nose this afternoon
Wasting tisse paper again daddy would say; I must be a big contributor to global warming
Somemore create so much waste by sneezing away in the tissue papers
And now it's a combi of fever and runny rose
It Sucks
Don't remember falling sick so often last time
Now like so lousy; little bit only fall sick
But then again, I'll have a reason to skip work tomorrow

School ended early today.
And work doesn't start until 7.
So I headed home and thought I would take a nap or something.
But turned out watching Tokyo Drift while eating Mac before my computer screen.
That DKさん seriously needs a nose job; he practically had no nose when they filmed his side view.
Feeling very very sleepy.
Just need to hold on for one more week.

random post
End of CCA fiesta.
Had A LOT of people signing up for ISAN.
Hope they don't all come at the same time.
Or else it'll be walking on the rink instead of skating.
Download for Hello Miss episode 7 is complete!
And episode 8's download is gonna be done in 2 more minutes!
Part of me wants to watch it before I go to bed.
But I'm so tired already.
So I shouldn't watch it now.
Dreading work tmr.
Jya, off to sleep.
