Taipei: 23rd to 30th April

Look at my newly done nails! 100% real nails okay.

Cos I bought the brush for nail painting in Taipei so decided to try it on my nails today since I was so damn free.

Took me around 1hr to finish sia, and another 2hrs for it to totally dry, so in the meanwhile catch up with 命中注定我爱你 episodes 5 and 6.

I've decided to not wait for other photos and blog with whatever pictures I have first. Haha.

Cause scared I'll forget what I did in Taipei if i drag too long..

23rd April:

Up and away from Singapore!

When we were about to land in Taiwan, a malaysian family (very obvious it's malaysian cause they went "going to reach liao wor", "going to rain liao wor") seated in front of me and Teng started saying "I can see ducks wor, alot of white ducks!"

Problem is, they saw ducks at this height.....

I don't see a single duck in sight.

Weather damn cold when we reached the airport. And we took the Free to go (飞狗) bus service to Rainbow Hotel. When we checked in to our hotel and while getting into the lift, the doors suddenly closed and I tried to open the doors again but shouted "Which is open which is close?!"

The words on the stupid lift buttons are in chinese and they looked quite the same, so at a glance, really can't tell which is the open button and which is close.

24th April:

Good morning!

Taipei 101

Went Taipei 101 but due to the weather that day, we decided to go up on another day, cause it's too damn foggy.

And then we made our way to Wu Fen Pu for shopping. That place is really like Bugis X 4 times big. Haha. Quite shiok to shop there.

Headed to Shi Lin Night Market after that, eat and eat and eat. At first thought got no shopping places there, but as we walked further we realised the entire shopping street is just next to the food market.

25th April:

At Dan Shui

Didn't manage to find the super big ice cream, but this is also big enough le lar.

The Ladies is called Lady, Gents is called Gentle. Wth man.

Went to Di Hua and realised got nothing much there so went to Hua Xi and same thing again, not suitable for our age de.. So walked around Ximending for awhile jiu go back hotel le. Then I met Ting (who is also in Taipei) to go Party World. Their service and systems there really so much better sia. Room also bigger, even though it's only the 2 of us singing and you have your personal toilet also. Sang till 3am liddat den go Mac to sit and chit chat for awhile before we went back to our hotels to koon.

26th April:

Lunch at Tamago ya.

Saw S.H.E. at Taipei Main Station! They were having a 宣传会 thing for the brand Top Girl. But we reached there quite late so only saw them for awhile and the thing ended le. Wasted. S.H.E. leh! Haha.

Then we shopped around Xin Guang San Yue before going Wu Fen Pu again.

27th April:

The autograph session was just outside our hotel! But from our room can't see lar.
And Teng and I decided to buy his new album just to get his signature. Quite fun eh. Never try before in Singapore, cause the queue is always so damn long. At least here don't have to queue overnight like 笨蛋.

I videoed down the song he sang, but like file size too big to upload on blogger.
Loading all these pictures already took super long liao.

Bad angle. But so damn close!!

Some guy brought 100 albums to let him sign, must be afterwards go sell them at higher price.
Then after signing, Zhang Dong Liang say he need to go pee, this is the come back from pee picture. Haha.

28th April:

Remember Meteor Garden? One of the scene was taken in this theme restaurant, P.S. Bu Bu

Nice salad, they used mango dressing instead of the usual salad dressing.

Refreshing taste, yummy...

When our desserts were served, our first reaction was..

"So Cute!!"

Each of our cakes had a different drawing on the plate.

The exact same car used in the drama. The PINK one! Haha.

Found Stella's Chocolate shop, Ting say she couldn't find and went to the Häagen-Dazs instead.
It's actually just across the road from Häagen-Dazs.

After that we went to Miramar to take the ferris wheel.
And I when I walked around the whole thing will shake, and Teng they all shout at me to stop. Haha.

29th April:

Went to Taipei 101.

I forgot which level is this sia. But is really walking in the clouds, wind blowing damn strong and cold! Can literally see the mists of clouds around you..

Teng and I went Party World that night. Food's yummy, system is good. Haha.

30th April:

Nothing happening, following were taken during the journey to the airport.

I'm Back!

Hi everyone!
I'm back from Taiwan. (on the 30th at 11pm)
Will update again once I get the rest of the photos from Teng they all.
Which I think it's gonna take some time..

Gonna start work on saturday 了. Feeling abit lazy though, but since it's for the sake of money, 就 work lor.
Met dear yesterday after his soccer.
This boy ar, always injure himself de leh, dunno how to take care de..
Hmm... must ban him from soccer liao! Haha..
Actually mummy wanted me to go grandma house for dinner, but she always last minute then tell me de, so in the end I didn't go, ed also didn't go, so I go alone also boring, go there can only watch mummy show favouritism to my baby nephew.
Although baby Javier is really cute lar..
Then when going home had a surprise from dear =)
Wanted to read it while walking home de but scared kena knock down by car, so decided to go home den read. Haha.

Oh and, I wanted to blog this before going Taiwan de, I lost all my contacts in my phone cause I sent it for repair.
Very sad de lar, now use 10 fingers and 10 toes can count how many contacts I have liao sia.

milkshakesss

Dear woke me up at around 1030 to help him open door.
Thought around 1100 or 1115 then will reach de lor.
果然, he go school but other people like already ended class le lar.. Haha.
Watched tv and nua awhile cos someone had a long 4hr break. But morning shows really is cannot-make-it sia. Nothing nice to watch de.
So while mummy is cooking lunch, I decided to make oreo milkshake!
Haha. Cos like promised someone will make for him.
So made him go down 711 with me to buy the ingredients..
Quite surprised that the blender I have at home still works sia. Seemed like eons ago since I last saw mummy using it..
But then next time must buy a different type of ice cream liao.. Cos the one I used for the milkshake like melts rather fast...

MY PHONE DIED LE.
Just when I reach orchard and was rushing for work, my phone suddenly died on me.
Can you imagine whole day stuck in the boutique with no phone to play with?
Somemore that's my only source of music now, eversince my mp3 gave up on me.
Then mummy went to get a spare phone for me, it's like shit can..
Nokia de old old model, no mp3 player, no personalised ringtones, and ONLY VGA CAMERA!!

As for the exterior......... one word, ugly.
What's more I've never liked Nokia phones again since I got rid of my last one.
But for now.... I've no other choices.

I just hope my Samsung one can be fixed before I fly off to taiwan, hopefully..


I just realised, all my contacts are saved in the phone, not in the sim card.......... SIANS.

Boring day

The cab companies should just ban me from taking cabs.. ANYMORE..

Anyway I was working at fareast level three's The Box today.
Damn boring, but at least got MTV to watch.
Me and the opposite shop's sales assistant brought our tables and chairs out and sat outside our shops just to have a clearer view of the MTV. Lol.
Then when it was nearing knock off time, Samuel and his gf dropped by to visit and cure some of my boredom. Haha.

And before the rest of the shop were opened, I decided to camwhore abit in the shop. Haha.

My lunch + dinner for the day. The portion is damn big okay, felt so bloated afterwards,
I'll give it a 4.5-star rating, cos it's nice plus filling.

Three Kingdoms

Was supposed to meet dear in school to go settle his appealing stuffs but I woke up late and he also didn't call to wake me up. Haha.
So end up met him straight at amk to watch Three Kingdoms and eat popcorn until bloated.
The movie was not bad. The people involved in war sometimes don't even know what they are fighting for.

For some reason, I'm really so free during work that I can take alot of useless pictures.
Didn't upload all that I took, cos mostly rubbish. Haha.
Had KFC for lunch that day. (was it really lunch? cos it was at 3-4pm. haha)
And the KFC staff abused my burger.
Open up to find the burger so messy, see liao also no appetite to eat.

Hire me to work but I went to try clothes.. Haha.. Try liao but never buy.

Work today was so BORING.
Mondays..............................
So bored until I re-wrote the sales details' sheet in PINK ink, and calculated my pay up to this week.
Had an urge to blog on my phone so I can kill some time, but remembering my phone's outstanding bill, I thought better of it.
Still hate the music playing from next door de shop, crazy de, same few songs can repeat for weeks.
Opposite shop de also weird, they didn't repeat the songs a million times but they blast the volume like nobody's business. Haha.
Lucky I have my book to keep me busy.
Not act de lor.
And lucky my boy messaged me so I wasn't so bored. Haha.
Then when he asked me the location of my workplace, I was guessing if he's coming down.
But then decided not to think so much about it in case is I really think too much.
Turns out he really did come! Haha =)
But the shi lin mee sua that he wanted to eat alrdy sold out liao so... went to have mac instead before heading home.

Kelly Poon's new album like not bad eh.
Though I only heard one song.
Think I might go buy her album, cos I really stunned when I saw her mtv for that song, like got quite some improvements eh. So support her abit. Haha.

Yesterday.
After going 拜拜 for ah gong, my family went for lunch at this place called 'lotus something garden'.
Can't remember the entire name. The food is ok lar. But then, it says on the pamphlet that it's eat-all-you-can ala carte buffet, so normal ppl will assume that orders can be repeated right.
But the staff keep saying cannot, my cousin has been there before and that time is can de.
So my family like not happy lar, pay so much but cannot repeat orders. So we play bastard and order all the different dishes they have available, even when we know sure cannot finish eating de.
We ordered like 2-3 soups, 2 dishes of prawns, and god-knows-how-many of meat dishes.
As long as got cook differently jiu order.
Even dessert also took 2 types.
Don't know why Lees are all so guai lan.
It runs in our blood.

Then met dear in bugis.
Waited till wanna faint sia.
And sian until I went to buy lipgloss just because I had to spend on something to cure the sian-ness.
Anyway, shopped around in bugis but nv buy anything else, cept for a mickey mouse top. Dear bought quite alot though haha. And burned a hole in his pocket for the dinner at Sakae also.

Was supposed to meet boy at 12:30 but I was late.
Hmm.. okay nothing unusual.
But this time abit scared la cos we were going to attend his sis's band concert at SCGS, and didn't know if can enter the hall if late.
Maybe like esplanade like that have to stand outside and wait? Hmm..
But then.. luckily when we reached, there's this conductor giving a lecture-long speech, got presentation slides somemore, and so the concert's actual starting time was around 3pm.

Don't know what's with these branded schools, always like to give this kind of long useless speeches; although this time it covered up for my lateness.
They're like treating the students like manufactured products, like have to go through this process then can become successful. What's the definition of being successful? Good career, strong friendships, able to help family? Come on lar, that's being too perfect liao.
And what be the first to reach and last to leave then will see improvements in your results.
Load of rubbish. First to reach and last to leave; I call that being stupid.
Anyway enough of my hatred towards such godly teachings of funny people on earth.

The junior bands performed first, some hiccups during their performances and quite a number of repeated pieces but considering it's their first concert and all still so young, they're quite good already.
There's only one senior band performing, from Commonwealth Sec de.
Not bad eh, really!
The name of the second piece was Broadway something-something. Haha, couldn't remember, but I liked it, somemore got Phamtom of the Opera de piece in it. The conductor was damn enthu also, after the performance he was sweating like crazy.
Now then I know conducting is also a form of exercise.

Was supposed to meet his sis back at amk central to buy things but couldn't reach her so me and boy went back to his house first and nua until his sis came back.
But then... she napped too long so end up didn't go buy her stuffs.
And then... becos of one call, someone didn't send me back to cck.
But since he cycled and sent me to amk station until out of breath jiu suan liao. Lol.

Anyway, I've gotta wake up at 9am tomorrow, so I'm gonna go sleep soon.. real soon.
This is really damn long a post sia.

april fool's

Won't be so bored when I've got work.
Don't have to slack at home doing absolutely nothing constructive.
But I think really blur;
1: Got new piece but couldn't see so say don't have, but customer already left so can't do anything about it. I think I'm really blind.
2: Forgot to throw the trash today, tomorrow sure smell like shit, cos it contains my dinner trash and bubble tea cup with some leftover milk tea.. eewww..
3: Don't know why today cashier end up with more money again. I must have counted wrongly, but they say if is more money then nevermind, so fuck care, only when shortage den must worry. Hmm.. new ideology. I like it. But still itching to know why will have more money.
4: Sat in the shop until 3 plus then remember I haven't eat lunch, so just continue to wait for dinner time to come.

I'm dying for some shopping therapy!
But first, I gotta go update my bankbook and see how much have I left. Haha.
Been ages since I last updated it; like 2-3 months?

First day of work,
and it was okay okay lar..
Cos it's retail line, so quite standard.
When nothing to do 就是 gossip; about other shops 的 people.
Still, F&B line's much more fun. Haha.

You guys should watch "命中注定我爱你", it's nice and funny.
With 陈乔恩 and 阮经天 as the leading cast.
I'm now waiting for this weekend's episode 3 to be hosted. Lol.
