Clueless

Because I always dilly-dally, I have to ask Mummy to help me collect my JLPT cert. (Finally got it on the 2nd last day of collection date.) I stared and stared at it for very long; so glad that I passed it, so glad that I didn't waste my time and money on nothing. I know it's only JLPT4; which is peanuts when compared to JLPT1. But still, it's a prove that I am capable of something. Unlike seeing my GPA which is so damn depressing.
In just another year I'll be graduating, yet I have no idea what I wanna do, where to go. It's time to start thinking.


It feels like I've done something wrong again.
Whether it's something I said or done.
It just feels wrong.
Perhaps I'm reading too much into it..
Blame all these senseless thoughts on those long travelling hours.
Time alone makes a person think too much.

NATAS Travel Fair

So many places that I wanna go! Especially those circled in the picture.
Huge crowd at the NATAS fair, but when compared to the IT fair, this is nothing.



After so long, I finally bought BoA's album =)
The bulk of the mess on my desk is blocked by the CD.

On the way back home, saw my auntie colleague on the train. Mood-spoiler.
Ain't looking forward to work on Monday.

just another face

After tomorrow I'll just have to bear working with that auntie for another week before I say bye bye to her stupid face. No point saying how irritating she is 'cos after all, she's just another face to me.

Jean didn't manage to enrol into the same class as us 'cos that vacancy was filled up by another I heard.
What can I say?
Shit happens.
Things don't always go the way we want them to be.
There's bound to be some people or things getting in the way.


If there are people sticking to rules, there will be people breaking them.
Likewise there will be people following the crowd, and there'll be those who like to do things differently.
So which one are you?

my poor feet

An idiot stepped on my feet that day while I was on the train back home.
The entire 2 inch high heel came crushing down on my poor feet..
Worried if my toe bones are alright,
if I don't touch them, they are okay, but once I rub the area where that idiot stepped on, the pain lingers.. -_-

No off day this sat, but that's okay, since I've already taken MC on wednesday even though I'm not exactly sick.
Too bad I can't go bladding with Cass they all; haven't seen them in ages already.
*Shrugs* what to do? All for one thing that is represented by the sign: $$
Saving up for that Australia trip or else when I get there I can only eat grass.
And it just crossed my mind today, when the trip's over, it's gonna be the GSS again, where to find money to shop?!

I passed my TRMK

Kbox-ed till 2am yesterday after work.
FUN :)
Slept at 4am last night and got woken up by Mummy at 10am.

So I screamed at her to shut up and she ain't happy about it.
I just hope I have dinner tonight.

I thought what the hell was that.
Totally forgotten that today is exam-results'-release-day.
Scraped pass my TRMK with a D, I'm just glad that I didn't fail it.
My GPA sucks. Literally sucks.
But still, congragulations to those who did well for this semester :)

I told my boss that I can't work on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th due to school matters.
And from April onwards I can only work on Sundays.
But I guess she don't have enough promoters to help her so she keep saying she's having headache arranging the roster.
Is it my problem??
From what I know, it's not my job to ensure there's enough promoters.
So on the phone I kept going: "oh, issit..", "hmm... i see"
Obviously she's trying to get me to say, "okay lor, I'll work on both weekends for you"
I'm not so easy to cheat okay. I'm not as simple as you think I am.
Be glad that I'm telling you in advance instead of going MIA.

Didn't buy the Creative's power adaptor there cos I had to buy an MP3 from them in order to purchase the adaptor at the special price of $30. If I still gotta pay $69, might as well buy it elsewhere and skip the crowd.

Headed to Maxwell market for dinner afterthat. And Mummy bought the 7-pieces-for-$1 hum-jim-peng, she bought 14 pieces and another couple in the queue helped her to fry it. So nice of them right? But I think it's because they find my mom too slow.

blogskins?

I can't seem to find any nice blogskins nowdays. All that's on blogskins.com are nothing but pics of models and more models. Ugly. The brushes and layout may be nice but they have nothing in relation to my life. Whatever happened to those nice and simple blogskins that used to dominate the blogging world? It's like a forgotten era already.

Looking forward to the trip down to the IT fair tomorrow. You must be thinking we're nuts to choose to go on a weekend, but there's no other choice, we're a busy family, tomorrow is the only day when we're all free, lol. I hope to get my zen player's power adaptor as well.

movie-ing day

Watched Protégé and Ghost Rider with Samuel.
It's like having a mini movie marathon.

I like Protégé, cos it realistic. It reflects the other side of the society which we don't normally get to see, and the importance to take extra care as to whom to place our trust in.

应该是空虚比较可怕吧。

Ghost Rider is nice as well. But the devils seemed to have died too fast. Like there weren't too much of a struggle in killing them. I had expected something more, more action, more intensitiy.. His bike and gun were cool though; when it transformed to the ghost rider version that is.


Joke of the year (with permission from my friend):
This friend of mine went to interview for a job at Tanglin Club.
On reaching, the guard asked if he really did call up to make an appointment and he said yes.
The confused guard called the HR department and confirmed his interview at 3.30pm.
Afterwhich he got the job.
He then happily broadcasted to everyone that he's starting work at Tanglin Club next week
Then his friends who are already working at Tanglin Club asked him "You today really got go interview ma? Sure ar? Got go correct place anot?"
And that's when he checked his assigned restaurant; Eagle Nest.
Eagle Nest belongs to AMERICAN CLUB, not TANGLIN CLUB.

Yesterday was late for work. The rules there are very strict, if you're late for 3 times you'll get banned from work there. Simply put: sacked.
The important thing here is not to get caught being late.
And that's exactly what I did yesterday. Haha.

I don't understand why there are people who don't want to go for their breaks.
What's more it's paid break.
When asked: 干嘛有 break 不要去?
The respond was: 有拿人家工钱，不好啦.
Their boss will really love them. Can make full use of them to work more than expected.

i'm tired

Work has been tiring.
Was wondering why am I working so hard for.
Then I remembered: all my material wants. Haha.
For those who intends to look for a job, don't even think of Isetan at Wisma.
Cos the management sucks, unless you're only intending to do part-time, or wish to experience the 'suckiness', then you're welcome to join us.
But on the overall, I'm surviving it, just close one eye and everything will be okay.
If need be, close both eyes.
